Student learning achievement in midwifery education is very important to assess the level of success in achieving the learning goals set in the midwifery curriculum. There are two factors that influence the achievement of learning achievemen. Internal factors are factors that originate from within students, namely motivation. In essence, motivation to learn is an internal impetus for someone who is learning to make changes in behavior, generally with several indicators or elements that support, this has a big role in one's success in learning.To determine the relationship between intrinsic motivation and students' perceptions about the competence of lecturers on the achievement of postpartum midwifery care subject values.This type of research is analytical research with cross sectional design. The study was conducted in the third semester students of the three midwifery diploma study program at STIKes Indramayu, with a sample of 28 students using the Chi Square test.Shows that there is a relationship between intrinsic motivation and students' perceptions about the competence of lecturers on the achievement of postpartum midwifery care subject values with a p value <0.05.There is a relationship between intrinsic motivation and students' perceptions about the competence of lecturers to the achievement of postpartum midwifery care subject values
