HUBUNGAN USIA, GRAVIDA, DAN PEKERJAAN DENGAN KEJADIAN ABORTUS
Abstract
Background: Maternal Mortality Rate in Indonesia is still high, one of the causes is abortion with a prevalence of 5%. This study aims to determine the relationship between age, gravida, and occupation with the incidence of abortion. Method: This type of research uses observational analytic with a cross sectional design. The sampling technique is total sampling, with a total sample of 46 respondents. Data were taken by retrospective observation of respondents' medical records. The analysis technique uses the Chi-Square test. Results: Statistical test results showed that there was a significant relationship between age and abortion (pv=0.035), there was no significant relationship between gravida and abortion (pv=0.071), there was a significant relationship between work and abortion (pv=0.017) Conclusion: Maternal factors attached to the mother such as age and employment status need to be monitored. This monitoring can be done when the mother is on an ANC visit. Therefore, it is recommended that mothers who are at a high risk age and have work outside the home to be diligent in ANC, especially when they are old gestation < 20 weeks.
